This marina is unique in its kind due to its beautiful surroundings. Its central location allows you to explore the beautiful inland waterways on various sailing routes. You can easily sail to Arnhem, Utrecht or 's-Hertogenbosch. On land, you can enjoy the natural surroundings full of fruit, water and history. The Utrechtse Heuvelrug is even visible from your boat. Would you rather go to a city? Then visit one of the nearby fortified towns, such as Wijk bij Duurstede. A stay at the Eiland van Maurik marina is always a success!
Passers-by can enjoy the facilities of the nearby Holiday Park Eiland van Maurik. Most facilities can be accessed free of charge, but there is a surcharge of €5 per person per day for the swimming pool. Swimming pool tickets are available at the reception of Vakantiepark Eiland van Maurik.
Berths in the marina are clearly marked with letters on the jetties and numbers on the edge of the jetty. These are suitable for two boats and are allocated on the basis of boat length. Any preferences can be discussed with the Harbour Master or reception, who have information on available places. To attach to the jetty, bollards and rings are available, and there are plenty of electricity points for passers-by on the jetties, although it is useful to bring an extension cord.
Some important details:
- Draught at most moorings is about 4 metres.
- Fixed water taps are available on the jetties.
- Lighting is installed on the jetties.
- The marina is secured with camera surveillance and a barrier.
- Ample parking is available.
- There is also a trailer ramp at the M jetty for launching small boats.
By 2022, all jetties in the marina will have new walkways and gratings, making the marina future-ready.
Moreover, passers-by have access to the facilities of the neighbouring Holiday Park Eiland van Maurik, including an (indoor) swimming pool, various water sports activities, play halls, outdoor playgrounds and restaurants. An entrance fee of €5 per person per day applies to the swimming pool for passers-by, with tickets available at the reception desk of the holiday park.

The approach route to the marina depends on the size of your boat. On arrival from the Lower Rhine, there are two options: turn right to enter the large marina, suitable for permanent berth holders and passers-by with long boats; or turn left to enter the transient marina, with some spaces available for longer boats (longer than 8 metres). For passers-by with longer boats, it is advisable to call in advance to check availability.
Marina Eiland van Maurik offers modern, heated sanitary facilities that are comfortable all year round. Showering is free for guests. A launderette is also available for your laundry needs.
The marina has a dedicated filling station for petrol Super E10 and diesel. You can refuel independently between 09:00 and 20:00. The location of the filling station is available in the map. In case of problems, please contact us on the phone number: 0344-691502. Disposal of waste and bilge water is also possible near the filling station.
For those looking for water sports facilities, the marina offers rentals of electric sloops, canoes, kayaks, pedal boats and SUP boards. Costs and availability vary by facility. Renting a trailer ramp is also possible, at a cost of €25 per time, including trailer storage and parking. The trailer ramp at the holiday park is frequently used for enjoying and exploring the surroundings.
For waste collection, waste containers are available for paper and cardboard, residual waste and glass. Please note that from 1 November 2022 the containers at the marina will be closed. Berth holders can dispose of their waste at the environmental site on the holiday park, opposite the reception.
Free Wi-Fi is available in both the holiday park and the marina. Parking is ample for permanent berth holders, who can park inside the barrier, close to their boat. In addition, charging stations for electric cars are available.

Jachthaven Eiland van Maurik is located in a floodplain of the Lower Rhine, putting many pleasant places within easy reach.
The Lower Rhine provides plenty of boating and viewing pleasure. Apart from the beautiful sailing routes on the Lower Rhine, there is more than enough to experience around the Lower Rhine. Indeed, the landscape is very varied, being located between the flat Betuwe and the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Between the many beaches, groynes and green landscapes, you will fall from one surprise to the next. In the vicinity of Maurik, there are numerous forests on hills. What makes the area even more unique are the two dams at Driel and Amerongen. This makes you feel like you are in a completely different world!
The Lower Rhine almost always has a lovely current, which makes boating very pleasant. The transition from Nederrijn to Lek is at the Kromme Rijn branch, just west of Wijk bij Duurstede.
We have several beautiful boating routes in store for you. Think, for example, of a route to Rhenen, Wageningen or Utrecht, but Tiel and Wijk bij Duurstede are also easy to reach.
Do you enjoy shopping and then taking a rest on a terrace? Then Rhenen is the place to be! Rhenen has a very beautiful location on the Lower Rhine and is easily accessible from Maurik. Another highlight is the Cunerakerk, visible from a long distance away. Moor at the quay and take a seat on the cosy waterside terrace.
From Marina Eiland van Maurik, Rhenen is easy to reach. Cruise along the beautiful natural surroundings full of meadows, forests and cosy beaches. From Jachthaven Eiland van Maurik you can easily turn onto the Lower Rhine. Then sail eastwards. On the left, you will pass the fortified town of Amerongen. Continue via Elst and experience the big difference between Utrecht and Gelderland. On your left, you will see woods and old fortified towns; on your right, vast meadows, orchards and water.
When cruising along the Lower Rhine, you should really stop at Wageningen. Apart from being known for its students, Wageningen also has a lot of history. For instance, the capitulation of the German occupying army was signed there on 5 May 1945. A city full of history and definitely worth a visit!
From Marina Eiland van Maurik, Wageningen is within easy reach. Sail along the beautiful natural surroundings full of meadows, forests and cosy beaches. From Jachthaven Eiland van Maurik you can turn onto the Lower Rhine. Then sail eastwards. On the left, you will pass the fortified town of Amerongen. Continue via Rhenen and then keep your course. Soon you will find Wageningen on your left.
You have surely heard of Flipje. But do you also know that Flipje comes from Tiel? And, are you familiar with the beautiful sailing route from Maurik to Tiel? Tiel is above all a fruit city. Much revolves around fruit. Not for nothing is the Betuwe associated with fruit and you can see that reflected in the city and its surroundings. Think of Flipje, the cheerful fruit boss of the jam factory. Think Appelpop, the nationally known free pop festival, or the annual Fruitcorso that attracts large numbers of visitors to the city.
From Jachthaven Eiland van Maurik, you sail to Tiel via the Lower Rhine and the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal. The first part on the Nederrijn will be relatively quiet, unlike the Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal. This is because the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal is connected to the Ruhr region. You will sail west and after passing Rijswijk, you will arrive at the Amsterdam-Rijnkanaal. Here you keep south and sail straight to Tiel.
