• Whether you like camping in a tent, caravan, or motorhome, Marina/Camping De Mars has the perfect spot for you. You can park your home on wheels on either side of the campsite.

Discover Our Marinas

• For lovers of water sports, we have two marinas to choose from. The Westhaven, completely renovated in 2020, can accommodate 100 boats, while the Oosthaven, with 450 berths and a mooring jetty for passers-by, is a lot more spacious.

Adventures in Abundance

• Thanks to its unique location, there is always something to do, both on the campsite and in the immediate surroundings. Take a dip in the clear water of the Rhederlaag, explore the beautiful Veluwe, or take a trip to bustling Arnhem. There is plenty for children to do, with play equipment and meeting the farm animals in the animal pasture.

Recreation and Entertainment

• In high season, there is a fun recreation programme packed with activities for young and old. Think games, a children's disco, a bouncy castle, craft afternoons, children's bingo, face painting, and even an Easter egg hunt.

Modern sanitary facilities

• Our centrally located sanitary facilities are clean and modern, with toilets, showers, and sinks. Enjoy a hot shower or use the laundry facilities. In October 2023, the renovation of the sanitary building at the East Harbour is planned.

• Our cafeteria is a cosy place where you can enjoy various delicacies, from snacks and sandwiches to refreshing ice cream. Be sure to try our specialities such as fresh fries, a frikandel sandwich or a delicious ice cream.

  • Westhaven: Completely renovated in 2020, suitable for small and medium-sized boats and sailboats, with space for 100 boats.

A bit of history

• The campsite has a rich history and was founded by Mr and Mrs Groenewoud in 1939. Following the diversion of the river IJssel in the 1960s, the campsite is now located in recreational area Rhederlaag. The love for camping and high-quality service have remained unchanged over the years and are still continued by members of the Groenewoud family.
