The Vispoorthaven in Zutphen has been the home port of the Watersport Vereniging Gelre since 1930. This historic marina is located on the south side of the centre of Zutphen, at Rhine kilometre 927. Passers-by are welcome and can report at the 'reporting jetty' on the starboard side when entering the harbour basin.

Sailing routes: Zutphen is located halfway between the shipping route of the Rhine towards Kampen and the Ketelmeer, the mouth of the IJssel. The IJssel is an important waterway connecting the northern Netherlands with Germany, Belgium and France. From the IJssel, you can reach the IJsselmeer, Friesland, the Wadden Sea, the North Sea and even the Nordic fjords.

Vispoorthaven is a valued KNMC preferred marina and is open to passers-by. The volunteer harbourmaster team is on hand to help with mooring. You can contact the harbourmaster by calling +31 648574574 about an hour before you want to dock. Be sure to provide the name of your boat, length, width and number of overnight stays.

During peak season, the availability of moorings at Vispoorthaven may be limited, so it is advisable to contact in advance.

• The cost for showers is 0.50 euros per coin, which can be obtained in the shower room.
• The port has a lifting facility with a lifting capacity of up to 10 tonnes, including ballast and cargo.
• Waste can be deposited in the designated containers on the quay at the entrance to the port.

Historic Zutphen: Zutphen is one of the oldest cities in the Netherlands, situated above the rivers. The historic centre offers museums, a film house, theatre, galleries, shops, restaurants and weekly markets on Thursdays and Saturdays, all within walking distance of the port. The marina is orderly and cosy, with space for passers-by and private moorings for members at the middle jetty.
