The Sixhaven is located in the middle of Amsterdam opposite Central Station, along the standing mast route. All facilities (electricity, water, showers, wifi) are included in the price.
Reservations are not necessary. Calling five minutes before arrival works best; you can then immediately arrange a mooring: 020-632.9429
Sixhaven is connected to the centre of Amsterdam by free ferries (24/7) a 5-minute walk away.
Supermarkets are 500 and 600 metres away. There are several (takeaway) restaurants in the vicinity.

Facilities on the Jetties On the jetties there is a shore power connection (6 ampere / 1300watt) and drinking water hoses on the grey reels. On the main jetty, there are safety pillars with fire extinguishers and lifebuoys.
On the Harbour The cosy "Dokhuis" has a (often) sunny terrace overlooking the IJ. Drinks and simple snacks are available at the Dokhuis. The volunteer-run Dokhuis is open from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon during the sailing season.
Next to the Dokhuis is a well-equipped safe playground for the little ones.
Harbour fees Payment of harbour fees is done via the QR code on the jetty for your berth. You should pay on the day of arrival. After payment, you will receive a receipt by email; this receipt will include the access gate code.
The price includes shore power, water, showers and wifi.
Shower, Washing and Toilet Pavilion There is a separate shower and toilet pavilion with washing and dishwashing facilities. There are also 2 washing machines and dryers there that are paid and operated via an app from Miele. Directions on signs near the machines.
Irons and an ironing board are also available.
Wireless Internet A Wi-Fi network is available in the marina. Passers-by can access this network free of charge. No password is required.
Access The Sixhaven is secured behind a fence. Inside the fence is a pedestrian/bicycle gate fitted with a code lock. The code is provided in the confirmation email of your booking. The Sixhaven is equipped with camera surveillance.
Waste At Sixhaven, waste is collected separately. The waste station is in the car park next to the Dokhuis towards the fence. There are glass bins, a compactor for household waste and a paper container.
Chemical waste, such as waste oil and old batteries, can only be deposited with the permission of the harbour master.
Bicycle parking Under the dock house on the harbour side are bicycle racks. Cycling across the jetties is prohibited, as is placing bicycles on the jetties.
Parking There are no facilities for passers-by to park a car on the harbour premises. In the vicinity of the port, paid parking is available everywhere. For an overview of the possibilities, please visit parkeren-amsterdam.com/noord.

Surroundings All facilities are available around Sixhaven. There is nothing missing in the area. Along the North Holland Canal is the Flora Park. Here you will also find a swimming pool with indoor and outdoor pools. A 5-minute walk away is a café-restaurant for drinks, snacks or a full lunch or dinner (cafeons.nl).
If you want to cook for yourself, you can go to the well-equipped supermarket(s) within walking distance for groceries and various other items. Amsterdam's nightlife can be reached 24 hours a day by ferry.
Shops The supermarket Dirk van den Broek has all your daily groceries. The supermarket is located on Meeuwenlaan, a 10-minute walk from the port. Behind Dirk van den Broek is the Jumbo Foodmarkt. This contains several stalls with fresh products such as pizza, sushi, fish, vegetables and fruit. You can enjoy your fresh dishes in the Foodmarkt Café. Starling Park is 7 minutes' walk away. Here you will find a bakery, butcher, greengrocer and several eateries, among others. The Pekmarkt is across the Willemsluis on the right and about a 10-minute walk away. The market is open on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and starts at 10am. Around 6pm, the market closes.
Food & Drinks The Wilhelmina dock is next to the Sixhaven and here you can go for a good lunch, dinner or a drink with appetisers. Café de Pont is located across the locks towards the ferry. You can also go here for lunch, dinner or drinks.
