Welcome to Nauerna, Assendelft
Enjoy peace and nature in an archetypal Dutch landscape. Passers-by are welcome in the marina. Provided you comply with the applicable rules of the RIVM, you are welcome in the marina. You can choose to pay your mooring fee contactless via the Blue Water app, but you are also welcome at the harbour office. Jachthaven Nauerna has proudly carried the Blue Flag since 2013.
The Blue Flag is an international environmental award given annually to beaches and marinas that participate in the campaign and have demonstrated that they are clean and safe. They must meet various criteria and serves as a recognition and quality symbol for clean beaches with good water quality and safe marinas for tourists.
In the Netherlands, Blue Flag-certified marinas can receive an additional award: the Green Pennant. This Pennant is awarded to marinas that have made extra efforts in the field of corporate social responsibility and sustainability. This includes measures on energy and water conservation, sustainable purchasing, use of environmentally friendly building materials, waste recycling and community involvement.
In 2019, Marina Nauerna received the Green Pennant in addition to the Blue Flag. Only 25 marinas in the Netherlands are allowed to display this Green Pennant. Modern washing facilities are available at the marina, including showers and toilets. You can use the washroom and have access to washing machines (including environmentally friendly detergent) and a dryer. To use the laundry facilities, you can obtain laundry tokens from the harbour masters at the marina office.
