Westeinderplassen The Westeinderplassen are a true paradise for water sports enthusiasts and nature lovers. The area comprises numerous - mainly private - islands. The municipality of Aalsmeer manages four public islands, including Starteiland, Kleine Poelakker, Heerlijkheid, and the Akkers van Ravestein.
