Discover WSV Haringvliet - Two club harbours for young and old

Location and Position: WSV Haringvliet offers two well-equipped club harbours: Heliushaven on open water and the more sheltered Kanaalhaven. Both are within walking distance of the old fortress of Hellevoetsluis, surrounded by beautiful nature reserves. With the Haringvliet dam and the Goereese sea lock nearby, it is an ideal spot for any water sports enthusiast.

Youth and Recreation: The club values recreational facilities for children, with its own youth centre and playground. Instructors are available for youth, and there are opportunities to learn to sail on fast RS Fevas.

Ports with Showers and Wifi: Both sailors and power boaters are welcome as members or passers-by. Both marinas have the Blue Flag as their quality seal, which stands for Clean, Quality and Hygiene. The marinas offer modern facilities, including Wifi, showers, and well-secured moorings.

Self-Employment and Active Association: Members of WSV Haringvliet carry out many activities in-house, contributing to affordable prices for mooring fees and membership. The association is not only a lively family marina but also an active community.

Facilities for Passers-by: Passers-by receive information on access codes, electricity, water, and other facilities from the harbour master. Both marinas offer good facilities such as loan bicycles, sanitary blocks, and access to restaurants in the area.

Surroundings and Days Out: Hellevoetsluis, with its rich maritime history, offers several attractions such as the Jan Blanken Dry Dock and museum ships. The town and surrounding area have walking trails, shopping centres, beaches, and several attractions, such as Historyland and seal sanctuary A Seal.
